Microbial Ecology. Biotechnology. Environmental, Industrial, Agricultural, Clinical and Veterinary Microbiology
On October 26, the first Medellín Microbial Meeting (MeMM) took place; it is an encounter in which undergraduate and graduate students present advances or final results in their research work, with the purpose of strengthening the working times among young researchers interested in microbial ecology, biotechnology and the different areas of microbiology. Vidarium participated in this meeting with the Poster Impact of DNA Extraction in the Dilutions of Samples and Contamination of Reagents in the Sequencing of the 16s ARNr Gene in Human Feces, presented by researcher Eliana Patricia Velásquez, as well as Determination and Evaluation of Intestinal Microbiota Common to the Colombian Population, presented by student Margarita María Valderrama.
