Vidarium, a Member CYTED CORNUCOPIA Network
The main objective of this thematic network is the exchange of knowledge between research groups and companies, to promote cooperation as a working method in the topic of “Characterization, functional assessment and safety of Latin American fruit bioactive compounds as food ingredients (CORNUCOPIA), consistent with the objectives of improving food, nutrition and health relations.

Network to Study the Bioavailability of Bioactive Nutrients and Components
The Network to Study the Bioavailability of Bioactive Nutrients and Components seeks to promote the interdisciplinary work of different research groups to develop projects aimed at understanding the mechanisms of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of substances, as well as validate their effectiveness. It also seeks to generate knowledge to validate existing biomarkers and propose new ones, thus contributing to the construction of the evidence that leads to better understanding the positive effects of the bioactive nutrients or components of food in human health.
